Here’s a video to give you a lot more of an insight into what this helmet can do for you.

Neotec vs Multitec Comparison

After having a listen to their Multitec helmet clients Shoei have raised the stakes by launching the Neotec. The Neotec boasts a drop down sun visor, improved sound reduction together with lighter weight by employing 5-ply Shock Absorbent Fibreshell. Shoei, it would seem, paid attention to feedback from their existing customers that the Multitec chin bar was far too limiting for a lot of riders, and so they fully extended the size of the Neotec chin bar by 5mm. The Shoei Neotec offers virtually three times more air flow than the Multitec simply because of its added intake and exhaust air vents. Shoei are also claiming that the quiet, secure feel of the Neotec permits a more relaxed environment designed for the rider, decreasing stress on extended rides. What’s more is that Shoei assert the Neotec is without a doubt their quietest helmet ever. The dual D-ring on the Multitec has been substituted on the Neotec with a 100% stainless metallic micro ratchet buckle.

The Neotec motorcycle helmet combines and improves on the convenience of an open face motorcycle helmet with all the security coupled with comfort of any full face helmet. Presently only the dark-colored smoke sun-visor is listed. Various other tints like light smoke, along with high-definition orange and yellow will definitely follow later in 2012.

The Shoei Neotec will probably be a home run rivaling the best modular motorcycle helmet products from other producers, most notably the Schuberth C3.
